In April,a second team of Project HOPE medical volunteers completed a health education mission at the John F. Kennedy Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia. The 14 member medical team participated in a total of 645 patient encounters, serviced or repaired 13 pieces of medical equipment and presented health education seminars and workshops to 270 JFK health care workers. But more than numbers, the volunteers formed lasting friendships and bonds with the JFK staff and patients. Enjoy this photo essay of volunteers at work in Liberia. (more)
Thanks for helping our people.
