Lol, 0:30 "Ugh". Ididnt realize that the original phage virus dies? I thought it would at least take the time to replicate it's own DNA before it injects it into the ecoli?

good video, but T4 phages don't "look" for an E. coli cell. It has no metabolic activity outside of the cell. It is just based on a bunch of random bumpings into the cell that the bacteriophage can attach itself. Once attached, then metabolic activity kicks in
