This video goes into detail on how to free mount a 5 foot giraffe unicycle. It isn't as hard as you think. If I can do it you can do it!

  • If you're going to continue to make videos invest in a wireless lav with windscreen and don't use the auto iris on the camera. The changing F stops is a bit distracting. Thanks for providing this information on unicycling.

  • I apologize for the video and sound quality. I will use better equipment from now on.

  • do you have to go into an idol or can u just keep going plz respond

  • Hi 933me,

I suppose you wouldn't have to go into an idle but that's the only way I can do it.

  • Thanks a bunch but sadly i cant actually afford a 5 foot unicycle... do you recommend a cheap place to buy one?

  • Hi MMBpictures,

I'm glad my video was helpful.

I buy all of my unicycles off of eBay. That's the cheapest place I know of to get them.

You can currently (April 30, 2009) buy a Torker Unistar TX 20" 5 Foot Giraffe Unicycle from "bikestuffguy" for $139 - free shipping.

  • Thanks for the video. I'm going to give this method a try.

  • You make it look so easy!

  • @marksvideotips No need to apologize. I am not the greatest shooter in the world but a good part of my knowledge has come from other more experienced shooters saying "mind if I make a suggestion?..." A good wireless lav starts at $600 but the auto iris doesn't cost anything to fix. Find an F stop that looks good and then lock it in. Trust me, I have made the same mistakes. Every shoot we do we all learn something new. Best of luck.

  • Now that was cool!

  • i dig the seat

  • Nice Mark, thanks for the tips; I will try this...it sure beats my "stand on the bumper of the Suburban and hold the roof rack" mount...plus it is easier to say.
