Life on the tropical island

Movie of my first week on Koh Tao, Thailand. Koh Tao is a divers island near Koh Samui and I stayed there about 2 months. This video shows many new found friends, an adventurous trip to Sai Nuan and the full moon party on Koh Phangang.

I met my girlfriend Kag this week and she showed me around the island. After the first 2 months we decided to explore Thailand further across the sea and we traveled together for another 2 and half months. My brother and mother with friend also join us in our adventures, which will be shown in our oncoming video's.

I know this island long time now but sometimes it makes me very sad to see the impact tourist and turism is having on this place and its people!

Yes, I hear Koh Tao is now also starting to attract more family tourism. But I don't get much involved with the tourists and stay more with my Thai friends. Tomorrow we go to Sai Nuan. See how things have changed there.

Hey, funny you respond at this moment. I am now one week back on Koh Tao after nearly 2 years. I saw a lot places in between, but Koh Tao stays the best place to be.

I'm sorry about the dog. It was a Dutch dog, right? Or former Dutch owner. Are you still in Koh Tao? Nice Poi video's! I juggle often with fire devil sticks. See ya!

yes, because of you I was able to see beyond tourism in Thailand. When I arrived in Bangkok first week I thought it impossible to do that. Thank you sooo much, we had the BEST time togedua, nah.

Hello, I am jealous u are in Koh Tao! I am back home in CH after 3 month. I was doing massage in Koh Tao and enjoying my friends there. Yes also for me this island is the best place left in Thailand. The dog by the end belonged to Saithong Resort to my friend Miss Jansom.... I wish u a very good time there and if u need a Taxiboat look out for Pao, he would be happy to earn some money. bye Andrea

Thanks for your comment on my Koh Tao vid - I just watched yours and it was awesome! Brought back loads of memories..

I especially liked the fire footage of those guys near the end - amazing!
