The vagaries of insecurity in Samburu are now hitting hard on the education sector, with most of the schools closing down due to fear of getting in the line of fire during the numerous cattle raids. However, a group of some residents are determined to break the vicious cycle of dependence on livestock by educating their children under armed security. The security men drawn from the Kenya police reserve say that they hope that by gaining knowledge, the children will one day save them from the vagaries of poverty.

gosh is that a school all under a gun. Where is the government here? where is the area MP? Shame on the millionaires in parliament, this teacher does alot more good than the 222 in parliament. The only good MP is a dead one.
