Let me chime in. Victoria...thanks for being such a good sport about the whole thing. I did see the Florida video and it was a much better job...so it looks like you are taking this experience and learning from it to get better.

To others...let's try to lay off the nasty comments. She is better than this one performance and she's using it to get better.

I feel sorry for the singer. Proof though that the whole concept of having one person sing a national anthem is utterly flawed! Nothing can beat the raw power of 1000s of voices singing together. This horrible tradition is just one more example of trying to control the crowd and needs to be abandoned!!

Anyone with a basic understanding of live audio and monitors will understand why her performance was off. Bad luck for the girl.

Dudes. I think she's right. I commented earlier on how terrible it was. But then I checked out her anthem rendition at the UF basketball game. It was pretty good.
