it was a surprisingly late landing that plane should have been slammed down to ensure touch down between the piano keys

I agree on change of tyres: glided in fine but touched quite late hence the full on jhatkaa clearly evident. 32-14 is, by universal consent, a terrible runway. And I'm not even a navigator!
