  • I really dont think Bono is trying to place himself over Ian by covering his song because, incase you didnt kno Bono is a huge Joy Division fan. Actually, I'm pretty sure Bono said that the reason he wanted to be in a band was because of Joy Division, so if you have a problem with him, then balme Joy Division.

  • I HATE BONO!! In the longer version of this video you here him sing "Then Love, love will tear us apart again" He got the words wrong it's "BUT Love...etc" ARTARD!! he murdered a beautiful song

  • Bono me choca, pero Acade fire es lo maximo, ojala hubieran grabado el cover de "Love will tear us apart" oficialmente.

  • *Gohum*

This video sucks. Cameraphones do not a good concert recording make.

    Plus, Bono is a prick.

  • Joy division are one of my favorites. Arcade Fire are pretty good. Early U2 is okay put they're mostly too pompous for me. What is unsettling to Joy division fans is hearing Ian's songs covered by a man who looks at the world so globally and hopefully when Ian was such an introvert with his art. In stuff I've read about the arcade fire they seem to be like the most stable people in the world. So hearing them play a song by such an unstable man sounds wrong. Still better than the Killers though

  • I think hes upset that they r still making music w/o him. Its like INXS w/o Micheal (except worse cause Joy Divison is better). By the way, i got my facts mixed up, Joy Diviosn's first album didnt come out till 1979, 2 years after Feedback (later 2 become U2) was formed. Sorry. But Joy Division was still a huge influence on them

  • i was there; it was a great cover; but there's got to be some better footage out there!
