Amazing Video: Avoiding mid air collizion with Boeing-737.

Aerial video recording captured amazing footage of Aerobird-3 crash as a result of sharp maneuver in order to avoid mid air collizion with 160 tons Boeing.

Aerobird wings collapsed in a sharp maneuver with dead spiral fall as a result.

Fortunately nobody get hurt.

The second camera from the surface was shooting Aerobird-3 flight up to the point of dead spiral fall with collapsed wings.

  • hey! theres no proof that you even got close to the boeing 737, "no one" can visibly see your rc plane when the wing collapses or before it does!!!! ha! probably total poop scratch!!! oh and real planes have gas/glow engines, and are made of wood, carbon fiber, fiberglass, or anything but a plastic and foam toy!!!!

  • Read through all the comments.

I provided my explanation at some point :-)

  • Hey i just got this plane!!

    A) do you fly with the landing gear or without?

    B) i was doing some wild loops and other stunts when my wing collapsed... has that ever happened to you or did i just buy the wrong one.

  • I am flying with landing gears as I am taking off from the ground.

In my case wings folded due to very high speed and sudden sharp turn.

Look like wings folding is common issue for this baby :-).

I have moved to Aerobird Extreame for now.

  • a) What kind of video camera did you use?

    b) Didn't it affect the CQ to have the camera in the nose like that?

  • 1) It is tiny "5-in-1" => Google it :-)

    2) Camera weight is about 50g and it doesn't affect CG much. Taking in account that this bird was heavily upgraded I took care to keep CG ~33% from the leading edge of the wing.

    3) Camer should be pointed 45 degree down for the best footage.

  • you was closer landing on the moon.. Ps get rid of the doggy hair cut . I bet you a quid you was sevrell miles away from it (the plane noy the cut)

  • Actually they ended up not pressing charges against the guy in Australia.

  • gay - not close

  • in the us you can fly any were but not like military space and no gas planes in city limits

  • this guy is right they sent the other dude to jail

     wake up

  • If I were you, I would remove this video. You should not be flying in a controlled airspace, its dangerous and illegal. In Australia a RC pilot is being prosecuted under the civil aviation law for doing exactly the same thing. It came to the authorities notice after he posted his video on you tube. I think he is looking at a prison sentence now according to the news report. Only a thought.

  • good video. odds are, that you crashed the plane once or twice, resulting in a compromised wing from take off. These planes are alot of fun. i'd suggest fitting a carbon rod to the wing. That'll stiffen it up some.

  • Wing folding is pretty common, especially with the added weight of a camera or other devices. Also, it's hard to determine an RC plane's altitude is without an altimeter (or height sensor for RC aircraft).

  • oh and even if u did nearly hit it y the fuck where u flying a model plane in a flight path of a airport!?!?! ur a fucking idiot!!!

  • lol yeah i saw the plane u nearly hit....NOT!!!!!
