Many people say to those who are undergoing difficulties: Allaah loves you, and that is why He is testing you [as Allaah tests those whom He loves] - in order to comfort them.

SubhaanAllaah, it is something to ponder that we can never be sure of those words, nor can we qualify Allaah's love for individuals and speak about that which we do not know.

haha you realy should be a comedian akhi. i'm watching this lecture out of order due to the youtube uploading process but still it's hilariously funny and i love each and every bit of it. i love the part where they spelled it as 'sawaab' instead of 'thawaab' in that email example. haha! reminds me of pakistanis, lol. don't get me wrong, i love our pakistani ikhwaan... haha. just saying...

subhana Allah I've gotten all these emails wallahumustaan! these are imitations of the christias ( since I used to be one) I've seen so many "Islamic emails" fashioned after christian emails I read before converting ... following them (Ahl Al Kitab - people of the book) right into a lizard's hole... laa howlaa wa laa quwata illah billah. That "Allah loves you" w/o textual evidence is the "Jesus Loves you" rhetoric
