  • I would hazard a guess that this is a Jimi solo, right? I like the 1812 reference; funny.

  • Its actually eric clapton from 1967-68 era with cream. Not many people know he used to play like this.

  • Victor isn't the end all be all of music knowledge. Are you sure that this is Eric Clapton?

  • im sure i posted the video.

  • @algrand90 Incoherent huh?

  • @Skyman46

euh ... that's an improvisation so basically he has the right to do everything he wants to do

  • This doesn't sound all that great to me, it sounds like he's repeating a lot and with no direction.

No wonder Duane Allman blew his doors off...

  • @ChrisLeeBear and can i have the live at the Grande Ballroom

  • I'llll take that link.

    Thanks

  • Im pretty sure, that this version of I'm So Glad is from the bootleg called "Live at the Grande Ballroom". if anyone wants a link to the album. just message me.

  • I don't understand why Clapton play popsongs when he can play guitar like this...

  • i can confirm that. this was exactly claptons playingstyle during the cream era.

  • I mentioned this song as a reply to your comment on my Cream's Spoonful.I have this version on my Cream of Cream CD.I have it starting from your 2:29 mark ending just about where you end it.This version has more bite than Goodbye Cream's version.Check out Bruce's bass lines during the 1812 overture. Sorry folks but you probably won't notice it here. There's a more uptempo studio version that has the 1812 overture in it as opposed to the slower Fresh Cream version.

  • sorry, its off the Goodbye album, not Live Cream
