I saw C. Carroll, Tommy Emmanuel and Frank Vignolia at Rams Head, in MD. Clive Carroll was the warm-up. He was truly terrific. Go see him if you can.

I saw Clive for the first time in Banbury as part of the 4 Parts Guitar tour. If you live in the UK and read this before the end of March 2011, look up the tour dates and travel as far as it takes! The other 3 parts besides Clive are John Etheridge, Ray Burley and Gordon Giltrap. All stellar performers, but for me it was Clive who shone brightest. Certainly, as we mingled at the interval, it was his performance of Oregon that everyone was talking about. Thanks for posting the video.

I saw you Clive in Langley BC Canada Nov. 2010 and you were a little choked about getting that crack in you guitar.
It was an honor to sit in front of a man with such awesome talent.

This guy dwarfs most guitarists who are regularly touted as "the best"...I've seen both him and John McLaughlin and Clive was on par...go see him if you can!
