Battle of the Bands 2010 - Call for Bands

The Greater Iowa City Area Dollars for Scholars 2010 Battle of the Bands will be held Friday, November 12th at the Coralville Marriott Hotel & Conference center at 7pm (doors open @ 6pm). All interested bands must send in a $25 entrance fee with band member information (all band members' names, ages, contact information) by October 15, 2010 to reserve their spot. Bands never before competing in this competition must send a demo CD with a copy of lyrics (verification of content matter only); this requirement is waived for prior competing bands. Band selection will give preference to students from the Iowa City Community School District, bands with average member ages below 21, and bands not winning prior GICA DFS Battle of the Bands Judges' Vote award.
