@stoll2424 Everybody's narcolepsy is different. One of the top N doc's in the world has declared stated he has the worst case of N he has ever come across in the USA. Thanks to meds my friend is now capable of laughing hard like in this video, but alas he still has cataplexy attacks, just not as often or as easily. This video actually shows him going into an autonomic state from laughing too hard, then going into cataplexy & transitioning within 2 sec into a sleep attack.

@silveradokat Thanks for you concern but really, we have N and yeah it's hard to live with and can be very sad, but there are times like in this clip where it's actually pretty funny. The ability to laugh at the ridiculousness of this condition, paralysis caused by strong emotions, can be a very necessary survival tool in this emotional world we live in.

Ah hello the face is not always the first to go There is partial cataplexy where there is isolated weakness like mine is in my upper thigh or even eye twitching

@sunshine674 Thank you, you are correct, everyone's cataplexy is as unique as the personality to affects. :) some people have full C, some have partial, some people get one kind or another depending on the trigger, their meds and their condition's severity.
