Originally inspired by Peace Pilgrim, a woman who walked for peace for 28 years, director Tara Golden conceived of the idea of a film that would combine a narrative story line and a documentary journey. The idea was to mix the powerful story of a man who does a peace walk with the real life adventure of walking every step of way through Scotland and England. The plan was to meet interesting local charactors along the 1100 mile hike and to integrate them into the story.

  • i watched this when it was first uploaded..

and now watching it again for the first time in 2 years, with me having grown older its even more inspirational.

my question is : why ONLY a million views?

  • moveinstereo, thank you for this comment.. it means a lot that you took a moment to tell me it inspired you.. the film is getting closer to being finished so i hope you will see it soon..id love your feedback on the other videos as well.

  • peace watchers, you will find the film trailer on the response videos or on my channel.. it should answer most of your questions.

  • one. all it takes. a thousand, or a hundred-thousand would be noticed more, yes. but the one is not only what it takes, but is in the end even more noticable than hundreds of thousands at once. more powerful than a million. more inspiring to strive for actual, true peace. what you did was inspiring beyon all means, and though I am only 15, I beleive that I, TRUELY, might get together all the people I can, when I'm older, and do something like that. I know people who would be willing to. Thankyou

  • your kind and positive comments mean a lot to me..chase and i were going on faith, not always peaceful ourselves but committed to making a difference.. i dont know if we did or will do that, but again, it means a lot to hear from you that you were inspired.. you are who we did it for..

  • It only takes one person.

  • missdivinestalls.thanks for saying that today.. i needed to hear it.

  • Thank you for sharing this video. It is very simple, but the message is magnificent! It speaks to the feeling of helplessness we have with the current world situation. It also speaks to what one individual can do in his/her own way to get the message of peace across. Thumbs up & sharing with friends!

  • Yes, Peace Pilgrim was and still is an inspiration to me too. I'm not clear why the interviewer thinks it's so "crazy." Uncommon, yes, but crazy? I think Peace Pilgrim, and this peace are inspired and I admire them both.

  • This movie reminds me of the artist Trevor Hall. Check him out he has the same message as this movie ie peace and unity for all.
