A lot of gamblers like to parlay "good teams" that are "locks". This video will show you why you're likely to lose money long-term playing these, and show you one instance when it makes sense (and $$$) to parlay big favorites.

  • @renduke you are the one making an idiot of yourself I am afraid.

If you are getting juiced at 20%, using the terminology in the video, you are paying $125 to win $100.(since laying $100 wins $80 in the example, this is termed being juiced at 20%, because (100-80)/100 is 20%) Decimal odds 1.8.

Decimal odds 1.8 on events that occur 55.55555% of the time will break even over the very long run. (US odds -125). Thats 1/1.8. Therefore 56% of winners would give you a small profit in the long run.

  • If one's handicapping can only come up with big favorites to play, you're not doing enough work.

  • @renduke LOLLLLLL

  • this guy is sharp but he screwed up this one video

  • the guy doesn't have a clue......if you're getting juiced at 20% you gonna need about 70% winners to turn a profit NOT 56%........try going back to 1st grade math you clown.....

JUST REMEMBER ONE THING once everyone knows something it isn't worth

knowing............hence anyone with a brain wouldn't share it with their sister

  • Justin, I never parlay - betting on the moneyline is the best way to go. Bet on the underdogs on the moneyline. In some sports I only win 32% of my bets and sometimes maybe 28% but I make a nice profit. Discipline and patience is the key. Handicap is quite a waste of time unless youre a Pinnacle customer
