This is my first ever race in a car and the heavens open in a very big way just after the start. I am driving the eXpansys.com Lotus 2-Eleven (this is the first one Lotus made) on road tires and all of the other Lotus cars are on racing slicks (Lotus had not developed the setup for slicks yet). This is the 7th round of the Lotus Challenge Asia at ZhuHai International Circuit in China September 16th, 2007

  • how long have you been racing?

  • That was my first ever race in a car. I did two races in karts about 13 years ago. I did the 3 day Skip Barber school at Laguna Seca to get my race license and that was a great learning experience.

  • nice wet skill. And how good was racing in this bath tube.

  • Thanks! Yes, it will become a bath tub if you stop. If you are moving the water does not come in.

  • Great driving man, very quick corrections and good overall. Great car too. How is the Zhuhai circuit to drive on?

  • Thanks, I like ZIC, it has some fun sections. It is not as challenging as Laguna Seca as it is flat.

  • Awesome counter steering dude o-o

  • Those are the best graphics ever.

  • Please consider MudScreen for your racing. Let u know if we can support!

  • That's badass, how'd you land an opportunity to run in the lotus challange?

  • luckily u were not in slicks....

  • It still was an epic two laps. Great car control too. I thought you were going to lose it when you overtook the Elise for 1st.

  • lol looks like a boat from this perspective. that 211 would be so much fun to drive. congrats

  • Great videos! Love the quality and the comments.

What camera are you using to record? I've got a standard hand-held jobbie but it certainly wouldn't stand up to a drenching like this.
