  • whyd we switch to shuttles anyway weve had two accidents with them the challenger and the colombia obviously but they were just sleeker and as it seems safer because weve never had any major accidents with them have we

  • Even to this day, IMO the Saturn V is the most impressive achievement in the history of rocketry. While the shuttle definitely made its mark as a reusable launch vehicle, it wasn't capable of carrying the heavy payloads of the Saturn V (excluding counting the shuttle itself as payload, and even then, it was still less than the payload of the Saturn V). No other successfully launched vehicle has ever matched its power or fuel capacity. And, even though only 13 launches, it always reached orbit.

  • Awesome rocket. Those idiots, who doubt Moon landing don't realize, that this rocket is a greater achievement than the actual Moon trip.

    People who lived i those times understand.
