The entire intro was recorded in 2 sessions by my camera from the DS Lite. Gameplay video was recorded and edited in later.

I would say neither, yet it flows in a fashion similar to both as well.

You can become the boss after defeating them, and depending on either Grey or Ashe, you get different attacks for some of the bosses you transform into.
