It`s possible to check which of Vigest Guard turning off 2nd boss shield?

There's 3 Guards for the 2nd boss. Only ONE turns off the shield and it's impossible to know which one. I usually kill all. Then wait for the respawn (and cat puts up shield).
Then kill ONE and weaken the 2 others. So 2 alive now with weak hp, and when the 3rd one respawns, i do aoe attack or fast attack and kill the 2 weak and go for boss.
That gives you 40-45 seconds with cat boss. I was lucky in the ft run and left the good one. Usually i keep 2 weak ones.
