You are an idiot for mentioning those three clowns in the same breath as Jeff. Jeff plays ANY genre of music with a style, technique, ability and flair that nobody, and I mean nobody, ever has had or ever will have. Jeff is the best guitarist ever, period. Jeff is the consummate musician. Page, Clapton, Scholz, Perry, Gilmour, May, Bonamassa and countless other musicians have said Jeff's the best ever.

"Jeff Beck, of course [is] my all-time favorite guitar player. We go back about 40 years. He's such a beautiful guitar player." ---John McLaughlin, 2012
John is a great one, no doubt, but I wouldn't say better than Jeff.

Yes, you are right on all counts. Jimi told Chas Chandler, his manager, he would only move to England if he got to meet Jeff.

When Jimi Hendrix first was asked to tour in England, he asked 2 questions: 1) have they got good amps in england? and 2) will i get to play with jeff beck?.... i heard about that on a documentary somewhere but cant remember where. Jeff Beck live at Ronnie Scott's is the show that after Jimmy Page watched it, said Jeff was the greatest guitar player alive today. And I would agree!

I've seen and heard some greats---Clapton '67 and '68 Cream..at the top of his powers, Hendrix in early 68, Peter Green twice before he blew his mind out in a car,Santana when it was still the "Santana Blues Band"...Roy Buchanan, Jimmy Page in '68 on Led Zeppelin's first tour, and many other great axe-men of the late '60's and 70's & beyond in the rock/electric genre....but Beck has always been the most exhilarating one of them all..JeffBeck Group w/Rod Stewart, Wired, and more...what a player!

Not sure what you're implying. I am sure that Jeff is the best axe player ever and that many, many musicians and music industry people agree that Jeff's the best guitarist ever.
