Mike Blacktopp's Official Skydive Video

Mike Blacktopp is terminally ill with Motor Neurone Disease. He is deteriorating every day, but recently he did a tandem skydive to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. This is the official video filmed by a skydiver cameraman, showing Mike close up, as he leaves the plane.

It was at Netheravon Airfield in Salisbury UK, where the Army Parachute Team looked after Mike. Thanks to Ryan, Mike's instructor (and skydiver buddy) and Titch the cameraman who both did a fantastic job (I called him Mitch on my other video -- sorry Titch!) and to the rest of the staff, who ensured Mike's local paper got the vital shots, so he made the front page the next day.

Mike Blacktopp died in August 2007. Right up until the end, he was trying to think up new ways to raise money for research into Motor Neurone Disease.

He was a remarkable person.
