Microwaving a 440 Volt Light Bulb

Part 3 of 3#: The largest light bulb ever microwave on the planet. It would take 1500 normal lightbulbs to equal one of these King Kong size light bulb monsters! The bulb glass is over 1/4" thick, weighs 7 lbs and has a screw base with ten times the volume of any ordinary bulb. This is a high powered bulb typically found in any football stadium rack lights seen high above the field. Why are they so powerful? Because you have to make the night like day for the players to play at night as if it were still daytime. If you screwed one in your house it would likely blind you up to 50' away in seconds. It would also take almost 100amps to power one with a specially outfitted socket. An average house typically only has a 200amp panel.

Remember, microwaving food is for morons.
