Amongst the smallest laptops in the world, this 2 pound laptop features;
-2 pcimia card slots
-256 colour LCD display (640 x 840)
-64 megs of RAM
-4 gigs of Hdrive space
-windows 98
-USB 1.1 support (with port on dock)

would last 8 hours on full charge (assuming a brand new battery was used)

-background-

-was a part of the smallest line of laptops in the late 1990's; toshiba's "libretto" series
-is actually a "Micro-Notebook", not a laptop
-has a fully typable keyboard
-runs full version of windows, not a crappy mobile one
-is the smaller than a keyboard for a conventional PC

was worth $4500 in 1997

  • Oh and, fuck the new "chicklet" style keyboards.

  • @BLASR24

They sell them on Ebay. I got mine for $80.

  • I just got my Libretto 110ct. It's damn solid. Keyboard action is excellent. Beats the keyboards on all current laptop models. Lasts long too!

  • Damn, this is great for typing. Better than some disposable electronic pad.

  • Bought a Libretto 110ct too,and people just can't believe it that it is so small.

  • I have a Libretto 70CT. Has 2 PCMIAs (1 on dock connector) like that one but has 1.51 GB hard drive, Windows 98 SE, 32MB RAM. Unfortunately it has no USB but has a 24-bit colour 640x480 colour display. Pretty cool.

  • I want that laptop!

  • big DS!
