@Mikey7927 im with lpvidz101 , after reading your comments i have strong doubts you are in there military, or were, because something like this shouldn't get your knickers in a twist or brain fart over a situation you really know nothing about. You know better not to otherwise. Some stores have a strong customer focus reputation to protect nor would such stores want cuffed people parading through the store or scene created at the entrance for customers to witness...and talk about.......

lmao

lmao, he must be on meth, hes like jamming thru the store thinking hes casually walking or some shit

@lpvidz101 hey buddy. take a minute and check my profile. read what i do. go on military.com and look me up. see me on the division list. go to ft. leonard wood website. go get a life. Soldiers die everyday and u are telling me about life, and what they do in the LAPD process. i live inLA its different then where ever u live

The Personal Qualifications Essay (PQE) is administered at the written test site. The PQE requires you to write essays in response to questions regarding demonstration of your personal qualifications for Police Officer. Essays will be EVALUATED BASED ON YOUR WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILL and demonstrated effectiveness in judgement and decision-making and behavioral flexibility.
I work with LAPD officers everyday..you are simply wrong. or as you say, FAIL.

@Mikey7927 Are you even serious right now? Yes, a good LPA will cuff if there policies allow. They will also follow their store's policies so can keep working as an LPA instead of getting fired. Like I said, one of these LPAs is one of the most successful in the whole company which is huge NATION WIDE. The other did not follow policy and got fired. Stores that allow cuffing, we cuff. Stores that don't, we don't. Simply guidelines here.

@lpvidz101 buddy im not here to debate on what grounds we make and what we do. everyone is different. not evryone is the same. and no i wouldnt fail because all u have to do to pass the written exam of the LAPD is write about what u have done to help someone. exactly u made my point a good LPA will cuff. i didnt see him cuffed when he came inside. all i saw is he walking side by side with the LAP. i rest my case.btw i do lp work even though i am a reservist
The LP in the white stripe polo shirt really should make sure everyone that he apprehends keeps their hands out of their pockets. This suspect could have easily pulled a gun. When I apprehend a suspect the first thing I say is keep your hands where I can see them. If they don't they go to ground and get cuffed.

@concolt He was new. That was exactly what I was telling him the whole time, but he didn't listen. Knife ended up being pulled...dude got bounced like a basketball but that was lucky. The other LP is almost 7 feet tall so luckily he had the ability to defend himself. I guess you live and learn. You could see where I (the other LP) kept my distance because the shoplifter gave me that vibe.
