I think a number of offences are unfairly attributed to Lambert:
0:36 I'm pretty sure that Shumway is not allowed to use her arm to block Lambert's leg in that way.
0:40 It's not a dirty tackle; Lambert had already begun her tackle when Payne tried to shield the ball. It's a foul...but only because Lambert slightly missed the ball.
0:56 Is Lambert the person who tripped her opponent or the one who kicked the ball? I'm not convinced here.
We see two forms of foul play, one subtle and the other one not so. Shumway was pulling her opponent's shorts and was smart enough to use her body to block the referee's line of sight. Lambert's reaction? Not smart, certainly...but understandable. If I were her, I would be angry as well.
A summary: I think this is just sensationalised by the media: the punishment clearly does not fit the crime. A three-match suspension? That's fine. But indefinitely? Even Roy Keane, with his worst foul on Haaland, received only an eight-match suspension for it.
Note: Keane was sent off a total of 11 times in his career.

Blame the ref all you want, he did not pull the girls pony tail or punch the girl. No excuses, toss the trash out.

0:42 Again, I'm not convinced that it's Lambert's fault as the clip is too short there.
Also, the situation at 0:49...
