as a kid, I remember Winters doing a routine mentioning shaving the cat. I think that was the first time I experienced visualization based on something somebody said. I thought it was hilarious, I could just see a shaved cat in my mind, he was great.

I remember him from the late 50's on TV about the time of Louis Nye, Tom Poston and Don Knotts. WInters is as funny now as he was then. I've always thought of Robin Williams as WInters on coke.

RIP....this man made us laugh as kids and as adults. No profanity, nothing that we all couldn't listen to as kids, but he always had us rolling on the floor. He will be missed.
