Edogawa fireworks festival 2009 - 江戸川の花火

A big part of summer in Japan is the amazing firework festivals that happen all over the country. They have very large attendance with men and women wearing traditional Japanese clothing called a yukata. The female yukata is very colourful, while the male version is usually just a solid dark colour. The firework display generally lasts about 1.5 hours non-stop. Plus they are free! So if you are ever in Japan in the summer make sure you attend a firework festival!

Yeah, anything in Tokyo usually has lots of people. Good thing is that there is usually a lot of room for everyone. We had lots of space for our tarp on the ground. I'm glad you enjoy the videos! Keep watching!
