  • Good translate ! :) Kaizers rock! :P

  • Thanks! And yeah, they do :)

  • i love this song.. i always had mental pictures of a soldier standing, or sitting, on the edge of bridge singing this to himself.. such emotion in janove's voice. i love this band! thanks so much!!

  • That's so sad! But it's such a sad song. I kind of imagined him alone at home or out in the cold alone.

No problem! If the computer I do these on ever works again, I'll get some more up :D

  • finaly someone who is able to translate norwegian into correct english. with the tranlation skills that people in norway generally have its refreshing to see this. keep up the good work

  • Thank you! I'm gald it's appreciated.

But, to be honest, I'm an American teenager who is fluent in English only. What you see in the videos are slightly modified versions of a translations an upstanding Norwegian (I suppose?) did that I got permission to use.

Resistansen is probably next if I can figure out how to do the crazy end, btw :]

  • "Skipsreder" is equal to a rich person, near nobility, "Ship owner" doesn't capture it quite right.

"Stedfortreder" is someone beeing groomed to replace a person, not a substitute.

"Krigsoffer" is not a war casualty, but a victim of war.

"Når folk ber" = "when people pray", but also "when people invite".

"He who saved 5 lives.." is more direct and correct translated.

Punctuation and capitalization could be improved.

Thanks for making these vids, TilDuDør. Nice to see international fans

  • @tor87 "Når folk ber" could also be "when people ask". I think...

  • call me crazy, but will you marry me janove ottesen? seriously.

  • @SharPeiMuttOwner I imagined he jumped off the bridge into the ice cold water at the end of the song, "Breeze, release me"

  • This song makes me want to take a long walk on the beach..... frankly the weather doesn't allow that... *sigh*

  • How can a man sing that high. When he says 'breeze.' Even I can barely sing that high, if even near that. That takes skill.

  • This reminds me of summer and our summer cottage in the island ;_;

  • being a german with fluent english helps a lot I guess...

such a sad song though =/

  • Hey, wanna do one for kaizers - 170 ??? :P

  • Nice. Norwegian isn't one of the languages I speak, but it's similar enough to English and German that it's not too hard to figure out what the words mean. And your lyrics vids really help. Thanks. :)
