Remember the early morning walk back from the WG to the pier! The spars met along the way, the heady stomp, stomp, stomp heard from a distance was so amazing and eery. I fell in love with a gall from Newcastle (Jackie a top blonde spinner) and fucked it up in my head speeded race around. Halceyon days indeed!

this is fantastic. i went to the wintergardens every fortnight i live in cornwall now but my time in cleethorpes where the best times of my life. do you remember the lads from scunthorpe, snackie, al macool, cat and julia etc

I was at the 1st Cleethorpes weekender and you couldn't get on the dancefloor, it was that rammed. How times have changed!!!

Hi d0ubledr0p, I think numbers have dropped in recent years, but to be fair most of these shots were taken late afternoon while the light was good and the place was quiet, and of course the dj's dancing comp only had the dj's on the floor. During the main sessions the floor still gets packed! Thanks for taking the time to comment!
