I'm curious, did you go so far as to put in the beach sand?? I was thinking of doing this but i'm not sure how the upkeep will be up here in the northern part of the country. (MA)

I'm sorry to hear that you had to sell. I think that I can shed some light on the due structure. I believe that the dues are deturmined by two factors.

    1. size and cost of property upkeep

    2. devided by the total number of units

in the case of bay lake (highrise), upkeep is low while the unit count is high. In my case at BCV unit count is relatively low while upkeep is high.

Hope this helps, hope u get a chance to buy back in soon!!

  • @RCCLDisney Had to sell my membership @ the BW last year:( DVC is amazing!!!! If anyone loves Disney and are able, DON'T THINK TWICE!! It will sound to good to be true, but there are NO drawbacks, and the memories you make will be priceless.(No, I don't work for Disney:)) As soon as I am able I am going to by back in for less pts at the Bay Lake Towers, and for some reason there dues are considerably lower than the other resorts!

  • I love there pool

  • i went to WDW in december and stayed at the beach club and it was just beautiful. the pool was great and it was great to be in walking distance of epcot (which is my favorite resort) and a boat ride to boardwalk and hollywood studios

  • u may want to look into buying in to DVC. I own at this resort, its fantastic. there are 9 DVC resorts on property and they r all great!!
