One of the panels at PAX. The Telltale folk get ideas for a script from the audience, get some people to do the voices of characters, and hash the scene together. Please excuse any lack of funny due to us all being amateurs.

Oh, and that Mr. Featherly? *points to self*

Here's the script, for those of you who can't quite hear it:

Noir Sam: It was a Kafka-esque and stormy night. There was a cone of silence around the joint.

Noir Sam: Who's your daddy and what does he do?

Winslow: Well, sir, I do fancy myself a map!

Noir Sam: You look dirtier than a muddy box of chicken strips! Why did you cross the road, tonight?

Mr. Featherly: I got nothing.

Noir Sam: Put your arms where I can see them, murderer!

Marzipan: Not on the first date, detective.

Noir Sam: All right. You're clearly up to no good. Put the d20 on the ground, slowly.

Tycho: Look here, you odious lout. I haven't killed someone in... at least two days.

Noir Sam: I doubt that!

(at this point, it was a prerecording and not the audience actors).

Tycho: It looks like the jig is up! And I would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for this meddling PAX panel!

Raptor: It was I! A velociraptor! Wahhahaha! *snarf*

  • I RAGED that Telltale blew their attempt at the BttF scene at this year's PAX. I was Marty and apparently Mr. Bruner was impressed. :D

  • Heheh... my wife was Marzipan's voice in this. I almost got to be Winslow, too ^^

  • @AgentParsec She was great! She was certainly a lot better than my original attempt at Noir Sam. :-P

  • @CyricZ That was you? It's not bad, actually; it sounds like you were using Bill Farmer's portrayal of Sam.

  • @mdalsted: No, I was Mr. Featherly, but I did try out for Noir Sam.

  • @Icedhope Oh! (Can't believe it took me this long to reply. DX ) Well, you sounded almost exactly like Bill Farmer's portrayal of Sam!

  • @CyricZ Why wasn't Sam wearing his jacket and hat?

  • I'll never understand the continuous and mysterious deaths of Strong Sad

  • Groaaaan.

Sam's voice is almost DEAD ON Bill Farmer's incarnation from Hit the Road.. ...except for the delivery.

  • IT WAS I, A VELOCIRAPTOR!

  • @mdalsted Actually I was sam.

  • @mdalsted Wrong. Back to the Future's present time was October 1985. The game is in May 1986. That's about 6 months. Marty MIGHT be 18, but likely still 17, so no, he isn't legally allowed to buy or drink alcohol. And even at 19, he wouldn't be of age to drink.

  • @Anduril74871 He WAS 17. The BTTF game starts in 1986; two years have passed since the events of the third movie, meaning that Marty is now 19 years old. He is of age. : )
