PART 1 OF 2 PLEASE WATCH THIS PART FIRST.....
Split apart due to the ridiculous 10 minute limit!
Inspired by Santana / John McLaughlin / Joe Zawinul / Miles Davis
This is a video of one of my demos. I thought i'd edit together clips from here and there into videos to go along with some of my demos, rather than just the sound. Since people often have a limited attention span, thus a video may lure them into listening for longer.
The track is IN A SILENT WAY / IT'S ABOUT THAT TIME / MARBLES written by Joe Zawinul / Miles Davis / John McLaughlin respectively. "In A Silent Way" and "It's About That Time" originally performed by Miles Davis and "Marbles" originally performed by John McLaughlin and all later by various other artists. It has quite a bit of influence from the Santana live versions, but it's kinda unique and different to in some way to each of the other versions.

It's basically my demo version medley of "In A Silent Way", "It's About That Time" and "Marbles" written by Joe Zawinul, Miles Davis and John McLaughlin respectively. Single takes again.
Keep checking for more demos as there will always be more to come.
And add my musical space http://www.myspace.com/shinkongo too. It's not complete yet but it will be updated soon with all demos.
Video clips taken from:
Various National Geographic, BBC and possible other (that I can't recall) documentaries.
ムー一族 (Mu's Family) (TV Show)
Santana III and Santana Caravanserai slbum covers.
The original "In A Silent Way / It's About That Time" composition was performed by Miles Davis on the album "In A Silent Way" and later by the Santana Band, live on various occasions, and the bands of Joe Zawinul (the composer of In A Silent Way), such as Weather Report and Zawinul Syndicate, as well as other jazz and fusion related artists.
The original "Marbles" composition was performed by John McLaughlin on the album "Devotion" and later by Carlos Santana & Buddy Miles on the album "Live!"

Hahah yeah there was a lot of influence from Carlos/Neal from that period of Santana from around the third album and the Santana live version of this here along with some John McLaughlin here and there.
