Looks like a cute medley. By the way, just a few years earlier to this, to have a white male put his arms around a black woman on TV would have resulted in screams from many southern affiliated stations. This was 1969, and it looks like times changed almost overnight.  Pretty proud of that. Ed Sullivan (in the 1950s) was confronted at a CBS affiliates meeting by a group of southern station owners about too many blacks on his show. Told them "go ahead, don't run the show". No one canceled.

I dont want to bring up race in a negative way. But I think that it is important to note that during the 60's Diana Ross and her image helped bring whites and blacks together in this country during a time that even the government couldnt do that. This may look simple, but in 1969 this was HUGE for a well known white television personality to embrace a black woman like that on TV. Motown did as much if not more than other civil rights activities at the time to bring people together.
