When you talked about Tegra 3 + Dock = "the new Ultrabook" - I couldn't agree more. I think you hit the nail on the head. I know I'd MUCH rather have one of these in a dock, than any of today's crop of "ultrabooks" (costing more than twice as much); its versatility gets you two for the price of one!

is it better than ipad 2 or any other tablet?

I totally agree.. the best!! some people just feel like they are experts. LOL. This is the best!

i like asus; looks great, but not enough hd and way over my budget.

@TheDigitalDigest yeah i retracted my post. sd works fine. thank you for the review. can't wait to get one :)

@dchao22 Try watching in SD. There seems to be an issue with YouTube converting AVCHD files all of the sudden. The raw file has no issues and the format is compatible. I'm looking into what I can do to fix this for future uploads but am not sure what YouTube changed since I have many uploads without this issue.
I don't agree. I would say you're a Blogger, right? While Android is good at so many things it doesn't have a real browser. And that is something I really need. Something like a Mouseover, for example. Javascript and Flash performance is good but not as same as the Desktop. If you really CREATE stuff, I suppose you do, you need a real OS. Android and iOS are not there yet. Thats why I am excited about Ultrabooks.

@angel2901 That is why I mention Windows 8 eventually making its way to this tablet one way or another (or at least very similar hardware). If you need Windows then you need a Windows machine...but most tasks these days can be accomplished by tablets. Thanks for watching!

It's sad for such a premium unit to have GPS problems. That's the only reason I'll wait for the 700 model with plastic back.

@vbnetfan Agreed but the 700 will also come at a premium. For users who don't use GPS frequently the Prime will still be the better option because of build and price point. I would love to have a 1080p screen now that a Tegra 3 is on board to handle it but 1080p deserves a larger screen than 10.1. Still looking forward to all of Asus's tablets this year. Thanks for watching!
