NO THIS IS NOT ME OR MY HORSE NOR ARE THE TWO IN THE VIDEO FRIENDS OR FAMILY OF MINE PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION TO UNDERSTAND MORE. For those that do not know the whole story the owners of the paint handed it over to them to train it(it supposedly had a problem with laying down when it got tired, we spoke to real owners who stated otherwise). The "trainers" were going to sell him to me for $400 once he was trained but little did we know he wasn't even for sale. Once they got on it and it tried to stay balanced from her weight, throwing her butt on the ground, they claimed he was "Untrainable," and "Dogfood." Driving down a country rode after they gave this horse back we noticed him in a pasture, his true owners pasture. We spoke to the girl who owns him and she told us how when they got him back he was severely underweight(which is not an uncommon thing we these people), spooky, and had a severe eye infection. She told us also how she switched him to a hackamore and solved the original problem he had been sent to have fixed. She was horrified that they were going to sell him to me, after all this was a little daughters horse and I don't blame her for being ticked off at that. Also, the grey mare in the background they later bred to a neighbors stud that had "Got loose and they couldn't get him to go home.". She already had ribs showing. Then she disappeared when I drove by one day to check on her. Bumped into the "trainers" at the feed store not to long ago and they said they sold her preggo and all to the meat packers for $100 because she was crazy and wouldn't let the other horse eat. I was furious and very saddened to here this! The mare was a barrel racer they bought at an auction and he beat the leaving crap out of her till she became to terrified to handle.

For those that want to know if they were turned into the police, yes they were when they had 3 starving horses on their property. The police gave them a warning, they fattened the horses up for a month then they lost weight even more rapidly then before. I do not know how the paint is doing now nor do I know how there only surviving horse is doing(the sorrel gelding in the background).

  • Is there an update for this video? I know you said you didn't know how the only surviving horse is doing, but do you know what is going on legally? Is animal control making frequent visits to check up on them or anything?

  • @4Champ2and0 - Animal control still won't do anything about it. The remaining horse(the big sorrel gelding) is still hanging on. I know they had a round bale over the winter but no longer. There has been mini's there numerous times - I have no idea where they have gone. A few foals have been spotted starving on the property as well. There's been a few cattle housed with the gelding a while back. I haven't spoke to them since so don't know the details I just drive by periodically.

  • Wow. Everyone is blaming this "person" - but what about the horse owner? Did she just send her horse to these people because they said they were horse trainers? If you don't like the way the people look after, handle, and ride their own horses, then why on earth would you allow them to have anything to do with YOUR horse? Take responsibility! If someone else treats your horse badly, it's YOUR FAULT!!!

  • @VivaLaVidaChica - That may be a bit true but either way. The "riders/trainers" treat all of the horses poorly, this was just evidence of one time.

  • The people on this video should be reported for animal abuse, however it was not the people on the video who recorded it, it says that in the description.

  • This is sick. For one, even if this lady did know what she was doing she is actually too obese to effectively communicate with the horse from the saddle and too obese to be safe. The horse hardly did anything, and she fell off. But the obesity issue obviously isn't the only major problem here. Its sad that this goes on all over the place 24/7.

  • Poor horse. Atleast when my pony runs off I'll now know to say 'yo ho, yo hoo' retard.

  • Ohhh my god, this is so unbearably ridiculous i don't even have words! This is CRAZY. I wouldn't even put that woman on a Shire. That horse is a saint for carrying her that far, I wouldn't have carried her at all! After reading your description, I sure hope something was done about it. Completely retarded.

  • Oh god that poor horse... D':

  • @NBakker1994 well you showed yuor ignorance of horses quite well. accepted load for a horse is up to 25% of its own weight (healthy). percheron would weigh roughly 2000 lbs meaning a 500 lb load. appropriate horse for th rider

  • As i'm assuming this is in texas....maybe not, but seemingly so....and let me say...i'm a PROFESSIONAL horseman and in all my experiences, i can tell you that this is generally what you get from 99.9% of these jackass mexicans down here that claim to be "trainers". You wouldn't beleive how many clients i have send me horses that are all jacked up from idiots like these. Do your research. Ask to see your trainer handle a horse prior to committing your horse to them!

  • gosh i feel bad for the owner (and definitely the horses) the poor girl thought these were REAL trainers and then they try to sell her horse!? thats just stupid and ILLEGAL!

  • I'd lay down too if I was being ridden by that cow!!!

  • OMG Get your fat ASS off that poor horse!!!

  • Just came across this and that saddle is WAY too small for that woman's big a**! If you can't get on a horse yourself or ride/work through the horse's problems when they're healthy, you are NOT a trainer. She's very unbalanced on top of it all. For the record, the horse never threw her, she FELL off cause she can't balance. Anyways, you start from the ground up training a horse, not just get on and hope they don't do something bad. Ugh, people like this make me sick to my stomach!
