True. These creatures existed in a time where the biggest things on land were smaller than these guys. For about 540 million years these guys have looked almost exactly the same. You can also see their close descendants around your house: Spiders, Ticks, and Scorpions. Thus they have blue blood. They are actually less related to crabs. Plus they're completely safe. That intense tail is only used as a plow or a crutch when they turn over. Though I wouldn't suggest jamming one's hand into it.

Is it a good idea to put them in a little tank and THEN put a very large ornamental pig (wtf?) in the middle of the small tank? No....

@BEETLEinBLACK if you dont know how to take care of them dont tell people to just get them. :/ tell them to google it research it a lot then decide to get one if they can take care of it.

If you could create little water pockets, like the fish man in "Hellboy" for the Horseshoe crabs. Do you think you can walk him/her like a dog on a leash on dry land? I want a pet Horseshoe crab, I find them really cute!
