@rainbowfirewave They really did so much with so little

You would be referring to the sequel, Dragon Saber. Very good sequel to this game which also got a home port on the TG16 I believe. Had a Man and a Woman on a rock holding a sword in the beginning like you mentioned. Also had powerups that turned you into different styles of dragons for different fire patterns. (hopefully Garudoh put that in the list too)

Wow...the turbo graphic version sounds so much better than the NES version...>.<

I have the NES version of this game. I play it all the time.
This game has one of the best soundtracks, no matter which console it's on or the sound quality.
-
Arcade version sounds much better. The percussion is really weak on TG-16.

Some of the full console machines were leased and those were returned back to the vendors. The remaining macines that he owned were sold. Right now I'm combing through Google and E-Bay without much success.

Oh man I'm so sorry! That is a HUGE regret. Did he keep any of them or did he have to get rid of them all?

Agreed. My uncle used to own a Sega Center video game arcade franchise back in the late 80's. He had access to many full console video games. He wanted to give me a full Ninga Warrior AND Dragon Spirit console when he quite that business but I declined as I did'nt have the space in my apartment to store them. One of the BIGGEST regret of my life to date.

Yep, this is the one, and the game is called "Dragon Spirit".
Why do old games with little more than beeps have the best music?

Was this also an arcade game? It seems so familiar...
A guy in the beginning on a rock raises his sword and gets struck by lightning, transforming into a dragon; is this the one?
