Fallen Angels - First love in cafe with english subs (1995, Wong Kar Wai) starring Takeshi Kaneshiro

One of three narratives in Fallen Angels is the story of a kind-hearted, young and childish mute (He Zhiwu, played wonderfully by Takeshi Kaneshiro). In this scene he falls in love for the very first time with a girl (Charlie/Cherry, played by Charlie Yeung) he recently met. An absolutely beautiful scene, so well made with perfect music choice. Takeshi's gestures and expressions are full of emotion, Wong's direction is perfect. Just had to upload it when I realised a video of the whole scene with english subtitles was not on youtube. Pls go and rent the movie if you haven't seen it yet...though the other two narratives aren't nearly as touching.
