  • hi i am a boy of 14 years, I looked a little on the barn and found an old pair of ballet skiing, which I had to try, Dad had been very good at it before he drives me to practice, I must say this video here was good !

  • @opproreren Thanks. You should look for the Accroski 1988 - 1992. I was much better at that time. Ans younger to!

  • AWESOME!!!! The amazing thing is you still have your ballet skis and poles! Chuck Heidenreich -World Cup 1982 - 84

  • Coming from you Chuck, that comment is realy appreciated.

  • Wow, you are in great form. As far as skis go, I am considering having one small ski factory I know replicate my old ATOMIC Ballets, which I still use every year. I am nowhere close to this level, and my age is higher as well.

I have contacted LEKI factory, and they checked whether they still have somewhere in the vaults the old ski poles. NO.

    CONGRATS RAY!

  • Thats cool! I have been wanting to learn some basic moves. I can spin, but would love to do more. I tried looking for instructional materials, but can't find anything. Any Ideas?

  • Mont Saint-sauveur!!

  • Looking great ... wish I kept my Olin Ballets from the late 70's ... nice work!

  • This sport needs to be brought back. I'm making it one of my life goals to learn the stuff you do there. :)

Ça me manque.

  • nice! i need to teach my 8 year old some stuff and bring ballet skiing back! chris melby word cup 1985

  • I'm going to learn how to that. do you need any specialized skis or poles? Although ill do my level 3 instructors course first before i injure myself :P

  • Ray,

Awesome stuff. Great to see someone bring there stuff back out. Could only imagine if it made the olympics (those stuffy fools).. The tricks would be way off the hook by now. And think about the terrain park stuff we could do with our poles and skis.

Still have my Leki pole, Atomic poles, Olin Ballet, Hart Ballet skis. All in the garage where I can see and remember those great days.
