What if we put all this effort/$ into educating people on diet/lifestyle modifications that enhance immunity (to a far broader range of illnesses), and into making sure everyone has clean food, water, air? Imagine the costs/lives that would be spared by empowering people to care for themselves. Anyways, whether you think Wakefield is a fraud, there are countless documented cases of vaccine injury as well as negligence on behalf of vaccine manufacturers. Autism cause or not, vaccines aren't safe!

@Lovett17 Wait till she has kids and gets them vaccinated.

He only said there was a link and that it should be investigated.

Dr. Andrew Wakefield or to give him his correct title, Andrew Wakefield...

Were you paying attention during this 8-minute video? Have you done any research at *all* on the links between vaccines and diseases/disorders? This guy isn't the only source of info, and the media is *not* your friend. RESEARCH, sheeple, and educate yourselves instead of being spoon-fed.

@joannepsi And while you're visiting the 3rd world countries, observe the rate of autism. Also, please give credit where credit is due. Most of the decline in disease isn't due to vaccines. It's due to waste removal, sanitation, and water purification. It is well documented that in the U.S. the decline of disease occurred with the advent of these public health technologies and that they preceded vaccinations.

Notice how the reporter just blatantly ignores the American court findings that VACCINES CAUSE AUTISM!

@ChannelUmptyThree There is currently a survey being conducted, which our family has participated in, comparing the health of vaccinated to unvaccinated children. 8000 unvaccinated children's health stats have been observed internationally, so far. Of those 8000 children, only 4 are autistic. Conservatively, that means that children are at least 20 times more likely to be autistic if they are vaccinated! And two of the autistic children in this survey had high metal levels in their blood.
Third world countries have very little access to vaccines. I suggest you "big pharma" conspiracy theorists visit a third world country some day to see the results of this. But don't forget to get your travel vaccinations before you go, eh?

never mind that the medical records of the children alone disproved his own study. Or that his conclusion that MMR (measles mumps rubella) was that separately they were safe, and conveniently he had just patented a single measles vaccine and stood to profit from their sales.
