Jorden Marinelli, a senior at Ponderosa High School in Shingle Springs, California is 18 yrs old, 220 lbs, 6'4". A strong left handed batter, right handed pitcher and first baseman.
A regular player for the past several years for the competitive team, Hard 90, coached by Rick Sundberg and Ron Silvia, located in El Dorado Hills. Jorden played in the Junior Baseball Olympics located in Arizona. Jorden also competes in local and out of area tournaments under Hard 90.
In July, Jorden competed in the Latin American Baseball Classic, representing the USA team for Big League Edge, in the Dominican Republic, coached by former Olympian and Chicago White Sox Pitcher, Jim Parque, Washington, with a 550 batting average.
Jorden tried out for and was accepted and offered a position in the (Under Armour) Baseball Factory California team, but did not compete with them.
Jorden is actively searching for an outstanding college that offers an aggressive baseball program where he can advance his studies and further enhance his skills with baseball. Jorden's wish is to someday play for a major league baseball team (like the Giants!).
