Carnies took my money!

Well, I don't know how it happened, but somehow a carnie got me to buy a silly stuffed banana for 40 dollars at this year's Wisconsin State Fair...and here is the story.

Seriously though, that guy was REALLY good at doing what he does...which is being an awful person.

And BELIEVE me, I would never in my life buy a 40 dollar stuffed banana on purpose...that would just be stupid.

Well Reubnick... For starters, I am a Carnie! And I am not going to tell you you are stupid... and im not going to tell u to go stuff it somewhere... What I will say is, I am not capable of cheating someone out of money... This is why I set up tear down and operate a Ride... Not all carnies are Butchers, and swindlers! @wdsnyder511 By all means, I have never had a problem with the ride operators. You are the good ones. I don't even associate you with those in charge of the games. You are the honest workers, unlike that other guy claims to be. Thank YOU for proving to whoever might be reading this that carnies are not all negative stereotypes of carnies. Besides, you can write a proper sentence and utilize logic, so right there you've got the upper hand on what's his face.

I forgot to point out how wonderful my grammar in that last comment was and that in eighteen years of working for the carnival, I've never met a ride jockey who didn't need a shower or a hairbrush. We don't screw people. We take money just like everyone else who has a job. It's your fault how high the toll is. Seeing how easy it was for that carnie to get forty bucks out of you, I sincerely hope you stop by my carnival sometime. Good day.

@wdsnyder511 Lord, this video is hilarious. First off, to you snyder, not all games are rigged or cheats which, if you were really a carnie, you'd know. To you, Reubnik, you didn't get butchered. Butchering is forty dollars for a dog that's barely the length of your forearm. At real carnivals, game workers also set up the rides. We're also honest workers. If convincing kids to pay forty bucks for a banana gets food on our table, then that's what we'll do. It's not our fault if you fall for it.

As a carnival show woman myself I got a chuckle out of this. Do you go to movies? Or arcades, theme parks, family fun centers... Any of those activities can be expensive. A nice young boy like yourself could make a lot of money out here. Maybe then forty bucks wouldn't seem like so much money to you. If you stick around long enough you'll develop Jedi mind tricks like all good carnies my friend :) ★★★★
