This is a very simple bait trap made out of a recycled 1.5 liter water bottle. Unfortunately you are likely to find exactly what you need lying around any boat launch or camp site. So simple you will be amazed how many minnows you can catch! The setting for this fishing tip is a beautiful wilderness stream located inside Puzzle Lake Provincial Park, Canada. Please rate this video. Thanks!

  • Thing is, it's only little fishes! Won't make you full :(

  • @MikeyCreation True. The game is to take the little fish and try to use them to catch bigger fish out of the lake. But I have know one of us to eat the bait rather than try to fish with it.

  • wow , he sounds like mr rogers.

  • @MasterSysop The guy from the Mr. Rogers neighbourhood show on PBS? That guy? Somebody stop me now ... LOL!

  • I made the same thing in the sea and I catch a yellow fish

  • @CODBlackOpsvideo1000 I caught a bunch of different minnows in the trap. You can see that a few of them look different. I keep meaning to go back, set the trap again and spend some time trying to identify what is in that stream.

  • @kiranking1234 That is not going to work if you are trying to demo a fish trap made from a recycled plastic bottle. Now if I was trying to demo using a net then that would be a good suggestion.

  • good for the environment cause you recycle bottles ^_^

  • @MikeyCreation the good thing about those little ones is that you can eat em as they are because their bones wont hurt you

  • thumbs up if you were thinking "the poor fishies!" as he drained the water from the trap.

  • I'd rather have a couple of dozen minnows in my belly than emptiness. They're like sardines, just bite their head off then swallow it head and all. This ain't Burger King.

  • @Blackrain4xmas Yes. I did it all the time.
