@dmlt12 Regardless of the costs/investments in new technology, I think it would be very good overall if we remove the monopoly oil (or other fossil fuels) has on transport- it might reduce the likelihood of going to war for oil (decreased dependence on foreign oil), as well as reduce the $ that goes in the pockets of those who use that $ to fund their wars against you. We're also supposed to be "advanced", let's get off dino poop and come up with something awesome :O

GREAT, so this lecture forgot to mention ,why the earth is getting cooler, why global temperature were much warmer in the past (such as medieval times. perside as carbon has been proven to block radiation from the sun, are we really so arrogant to suggest that we are going to control the whole climate. Its not as if other planets stay the same temperature.

Thanks for the info; the risks (dare we say probability...scientists are not the GOD);far outweigh the costs of resources & extra effort in new technologies & systems that may prevent the worst possible consequences of man contributing to global warming. Why can't more people Come out & make a reasonable presentation why they don't believe in mmgw not just swear & rubbish it

@deskset24 he showed a pic of a city underwater. which city is this and WHEN will it happen? if u or he cant tell me , then it is a complete joke. ..... what is the earths ave. temp? if u or he cant tell me then all the facts and figures dont mean much.. if this guy is so smart or u. these should be ez questions to answer. i am trying to learn and watching this guy is not helping. he keeps using the word PROBABLY.. probably is a term for used car salesmen, not scientist

@kevindar301 ice core samples you dick head... thousands clearly illustrating that first the earth's temperature increases then CO2 increases gradually over hundereds of years. Global Warming Alarmists continue to ignore this simple fact that ABSOLUTELY refudiates any conjecture from computer models or a few decades of warming trends. As an ice age ends warmer climates allow for a proliferation of organisms which respire CO2 and excrete methane. Global warming causes more CO2 not vise-versa.

@allanallanson the earth will possibly be fine yes, but human civilzation will most certainly not with most of the mayor cities wiped out by floods, a ecosystem collapsed (which needs to function to support the agriculture industry that provides food to all of us).

Besides minute amounts of stuff can make a diffrence explain why you with a alcohol lvl of 280 ppm (thats parts per million) will make you feel drunk. Consider then how you feel if you ingest 800 ppm more.
