I have tried this & found that shortening (i.e. Crisco) works better than the coconut oil (spreads easier & has a nicer texture). Either formula works better than the commercial deodorant!

I am sensitive to corn products, can the corn startch be substituted with something else?

Just curious, since you and daughter dislike tea-tree oil so much have you ezxperimented with lavender oil? Its darn near just as potent as tea tree and it smells better. Also, you could easilly distill your own lavender oil since the flowers contain so much essential oils. Just some thoughts, thanks for sharing!

I made this and it totally works! I am thrilled! this works so much better than crystal deodorant. I will never buy deodorant every again!

Is 100% pure edible coconut oil the same as organic coconut oil? and if so can I use the edible grade kind? Im intrested in making... please help..
