Very powerful video. Very inspiring. Personally, I would have gone without the narration - the shots speak for themselves. The scenery on the last couple of shots by the statue were very good; I don't think you could have asked for better weather for that shot!

This is a great video, there was a real mood and feeling that I got. Good luck :)

I meant to send this as a message to you, but since you required friending for that, I had to do it here. Youtube is pretty stupid with comments and on top of that it was acting up, so I only posted a third of what I meant to suggest you...I'll try and send you the whole thing

Extremely interesting...thanks for putting me so much thought into it. I actually have been debating putting together a Detachment Redux, since the original I edited very quickly after shooting it and the second one I discarded the VO for the NIN comp, but I just use your notes to complete the third and final version...
Sheesh, with all this re-editing I haven't had time to work on the companion video to this entitled "Attachment"...subscribe so you can see it soon!!!

The slowmotion shot from the back, where you now have "what's wrong with me" put "and yet I cant connect to it" then wait a while, show the silence, and put "why do I feel nothing" in the less echoed out voice like you have it."because I forgot what's important" as soon as we switch to sea and the beat changes. The rest of the answer, exactly as you have it

I've seen the other one and it lacks meaning. This one overdoes the repeated text effect and makes it tiresome. I really think it could be easily adapted with a happy compromise...I even wrote it out, so I'm gonna take a risk and post it here, hope it is of use to you!

nice work, I really liked the imagery, and the voice-over worked pretty well, maybe a bit more varied lines, but overall I was impressed
And hey, let it all be in the spirit of OpenSourceRevolution that inspired this album, am I right or what?

Good job man, what software do you use? I think this is the direction Trent was hoping for.

This was all edited in Final Cut Pro and shot on my old school DCR-TRV900...9 years and it still runs perfectly.
