Chapter 2
Raines POV
Around 8:30, Kevin came in, no doubt to wake Nick.
K: whatre you dont in here
R: he had the nightmare again
K: poor guy. I dont know what else to do for him.
R: there is nothing TO do. Just let him sleep. He needs it
Kevin nodded, kissed my head, and walked out

Not much later Nick woke up
R: hey sleepy head
He mumbled a good morning
R: get up. Kevin made breakfast
He looked at me with an upset look
N: You told him?
R: he found me in here so he knew.
N: Ugh
That was something Kevin did. He made breakfast whenever Nick had that dream .

We finally made it downstairs to the kitchen. Nick and I both checked our levels. We both suffer from Type 1 Diabetes.
K: morning you two.
R&N: morning
K: how are you
Nick just looked down. He did not like talking about it.
Kevin sighed and walked over to us and set two plates full of M&M pancakes in front of us and two apple juices
K: be careful with the sugar you two.
We dug in, ignoring Kevins request.
When we finished, nick just sat there.
R: bubba what is wrong?
N; nothin
R: sure. You know you cannot fool me.
N: im just still shaken up from the dream
I hugged him.
R: you know, Kevin is very worried about you.
N: yeah, so?
R: he wants you to see the psychiatrist again. Now that you are older
He started frantically shaking his head. I do not think I mentioned it before, but the accident caused several things to go wrong in Nicks mind. Bright lights scare him. So do certain loud noises such as thunder and a garbage truck. Whenever he gets nervous, he does not speak, but makes quick movements like shaking his head or fidgeting with his hands. Sometimes, it becomes so bad his mind completely shuts down and it is like he is a toddler again. (a/n: wow, I feel like Im writing about my brother. Hes Autistic and these are symptoms of that as well)
R: shh, shhh, you are fine Bubba. Nobody will force you to go back, okay? I will not let them
He just sat there, then whispered okay that was barely audible. I looked up at Kevin
