I used the w58 transmission because it fits way better and is servicable without having to pull the motor. It's just too damn big. Anyways, I ordered a mkll supra driveshaft with a 1 inch aluminum spacer from a Suzuki samari. I was able to install the driveshaft and attatch the center bearing to the stick e30 center bearing location an I just had to slightly modify the rear diff mount and term about 1mm out of each hole on the Toyota driveshaft to make it all bolt up and work.

i fitted the r154 without a problem, only the rear light sensor is tight fit with tunnel, little hammer time can fix, can get the transmission out without pulling the engine out you only need to loosen up the pressure plate bolts when removing the gearbox!

cool, sounds good man. The motor i picked up come with the getrag 6spd and i'm wokring on making it fit haha. Are you using the stock cv's? I'll post picks of the build on rv3limited as soon as i get some spare time.

Hey man, where did you get your driveshaft/ cv's? I've just started doing a similar build with my '84 325e with a 2j. Very nice car, sounds mean.
