Excellent, that's exactly how I've always done mine. I always smear copper grease on the back of the pads, it stop the high frequency resonance that causes squeal.

This is a good video, but I always wonder why they all give SO much instruction about how to remove & replace the wheel? If you don't know the Do's & Don'ts of changing a wheel, you probably shouldn't be tackling a brake job.

Put the copper grease on the pad sliding ways not on their backside, there is already a plastic film to prevent from noises.
